SmartShop is an App which allows shoppers to scan and bag their groceries with an Android or iOS app on their phones, or a store supplied handset as they shop and make mobile payments to skip checkout queues.

I worked on features across Native Apps, In-store physical checkouts and the back-end admin toolbox.
Key areas I worked on were:
In-app shopping list management
Nectar integration (as I was a subject matter expert having just worked on the Nectar relaunch)
Shrinkage reduction functions (i.e. how to reduce shoplifting and fraud)
Exit journey (Apple & Google pay integration, App handoff to checkout)
Build for Android
Alignment of MC18 (store handset) UI with App/Luna Design System
Admin toolbox customer management functions
My contributions to the product help earn Smartshop the UXUK Awards ’18 - Best Innovation & Best Transactional Experience award
